What are the access hours?
Daily from 6 AM to 9 PM.
What is prohibited to be stored?
Flammable, explosive, or illicit materials are not allowed. Occupying the unit as living quarters is prohibited by law and is cause for immediate eviction. Operating a business from the unit or storage of live animals in the unit is strictly prohibited.
Facility policies:
- Units are for storage purposes only – they are not to be used for operating a business out of or performing repairs/working on vehicles, equipment, etc.
- “Piggybacking” to gain entrance into the facility is not permitted.
Can I get a refund?
Security deposit is refundable if a 2 week move out notice is given prior to vacating and the unit is clean and empty upon move out. Security deposit is non-refundable If any items remain upon vacating the unit.
Do I need to provide my own lock?
Yes, you must provide your own lock.
Does the facility assume any liability for the goods I store?
3XL Storage is not responsible for items stored at the facility. We recommend contacting your insurance agent for a renter’s policy or add stored goods to an existing policy which is usually inexpensive.
Am I required to store long-term?
We provide flexible month-to-month lease options. Store with us short or long-term.
How do I pay my storage bill?
Pay your storage bill online using a debit or credit card. You can also speak to your facility manager about autopay.
What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
A valid form of government-issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID.
Temperature Controlled Units
What is “temperature-controlled” and do I need it?
Our temperature controlled units ensure that your treasured belongings are not exposed to damaging heat or cold. Our units are in an indoor finished building where temperatures range from 45 – 75 degrees so that your items will not freeze or melt. The indoor setting also reduces dirt and dust. This type of environment is ideal for storing furniture, documents photographs, discs/records, electronics and other items.
- The corridors are equipped with video cameras (Will vary per facility)
- A brightly lit hallway makes it easy to move in and out
- Units sizes range from 5′ x 5′ to 10′ x 30′
- Carts are available for complimentary on-site tenant use
